Sacrament of Baptism or Confirmation Interested in Baptism or Confirmation? Please contact the Rector, Andrew Cooke on his cell (902-717-2275).
Infant baptism: Requires that the parents complete two in home sessions with the Rector. These sessions look at the responses the parents will be making in the service and the creed as the re-examination of the beliefs held in Christianity. It is an informal time (no tests) to explore and ask those questions where some may be unsure of either what they believe, or what are the Biblical truths. Adult Baptism: What is referred to as adult baptism can be obscure with regards to what age this is. It can be that some children in their understanding can be considered old enough to make their own profession of faith, without parents doing it for them. This can be discussed between the Rector, the parents and the child. Confirmation: In our Diocese it has been established that the age for confirmation should be 15 years and above. If you or your children would like to explore the possibly of confirmation, please call the rector.
Funerals: All times are available and locations can be either in the church or at the Funeral Home depending on the wishes of the family and deceased, with the exception: no funerals on Sunday.
Weddings: Please contact the Rector at 902-717-2275 at the earliest opportunity to make sure your date is on the calendar. Please allow for two to four preparation sessions at your place of residence or the church.
