NOTICES

Musician Needed:  The Parish of St Peter’s needs a musician (organ, piano, guitar) for on-going Sunday worship. We welcome a variety of music – traditional, contemporary, old, new, children’s, etc. If you know of a musician, please share this opportunity with them. Paid position. Apply to [email protected] or drop a resume off at the Church Office.

NEW--Morning Coffee Hour:
  with snacks.  10 am Wednesdays, St. Peter's Church Hall. Hosted by Chris Buckley. Everyone welcome. Runs throughout Dec.

NEW--Cribbage/Games night:  held the 1st Saturday of each Month, 7:00 – 9:00 PM, St. Peter's Church Hall.  Come out for a fun night (we encourage youth participation).  Who doesn’t like a good games night?  Cribbage boards (and various other games) will be available.  You can pick some players, choose a game and play just for fun.  No cost involved.  There will be a 50/50 draw -- 50% to winner and 50% to cover expenses.  We will provide cookies with tea, coffee & juice.   No need to bring anything but yourself looking for a night of fellowship and fun.   Next Date - January 3, 2026.

Book Worm Haven (Parish Book Room):  Book Worm Haven will no longer be open on every Saturday.  It will, however, be open one Saturday each month from 9 am to noon.  (See schedule at bottom of write-up.)
St. Peter’s Church Book Worm Haven, St. Peter's Church Hall, 9 am – noon. Browse through over 5,000 books and puzzles.  Prices are $2 and $3.  The book room will be open one Saturday early each month after The Masthead News arrives.  Check this space for the date of the next event. 902-823-1085.​  Next Date - ​Saturday, December 13th, from 9 am to noon.


45's Card Game:  3rd Saturday of every month.  Next Date - Saturday, January 17th, at 7 pm, St Peter's Church Hall.  Light refreshments following.  NO CARD GAMES IN JULY, AUGUST AND DECEMBER.

Bible Study 101/Ecumenical Fellowship:   10 am, Tuesdays, during October 7, 14, 21, 28 & November 4, 18, 25. Theme will be “Pathways to Christian Maturity”.  All welcome.  No experience necessary. 
 
St. Peter's Parish Choir Practice:   NO CHOIR while waiting for our new organist to be hired.

Food Bank Items:  SMB Food Bank:  jam, pancake mix, pancake syrup, boxed stuffing, canned or packaged gravy, canned milk, instant and drip coffee, regular and herbal tea, hot chocolate, canned fruit, gluten-free foods, low-sugar foods, cranberry sauce, boxed chocolates. Toiletries: handwashing soap---scented or unscented, shampoo and deodorant---regular or unscented. Please check Best Before Dates. Expired products are dropped in the garbage. Thank you for your generosity.
