Parish Book Room: Renamed to Book Worm Haven and will be open on every Saturday, 9 am to noon. Come find some books -- they can do wonders for the soul. Closes October 12th for the season. St. Peter's Parish Choir Practice: Thursdays 1 -2 pm at St. Peter's Church. Open to everyone who wants to sing in the choir; please attend practice regularly.
Food Bank Items: The Christmas Hampers are being prepared to be distributed the middle of November. The items that are requested for the three months are as follows: gift cards for turkeys, root vegetables and pies. Other items: jams, pancake mixes, pancake syrup, boxed stuffing, packages of gravy, hot drinks (tea, coffee, chocolate), crackers, boxes of chocolates, shampoos & conditioners and bars of soap.
