NOTICES

From Archbishops Justin Welby and Stephen Cottrell God of peace and justice, we pray for the people of Ukraine and for all your precious children. God of peace and justice we pray for the people of Ukraine today, we pray for peace and the laying down of weapons. We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow, that Your Spirit of comfort will draw near to them. We pray for those with power over war or peace, for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions. Above all, we pray for your precious children, at risk and in fear, that You would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Amen

Food Bank Items April
 - men/women shampoo, fruit cups, including apple sauce, recess snacks (i.e., pre-packaged items like cereal bars, cookies, etc.), and laundry and dish soaps. Also, tooth brushes. Don’t forget that this month is also Easter! Please note that during COVID-19 times, the food bank is getting more and more clients that have special dietary needs, increasing the need for sugar-free or no sugar added and gluten free items. There are also more clients with allergies, so scent-free products are much appreciated. Remember the Food Bank accepts in-person donation from Tuesday to Saturday between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Bay Rides Vaccine Fare
The other special program on the go right now is our trips to vaccine clinics - $5 round trip; FREE to seniors. Thanks to funding support from the government of Nova Scotia, we are able to offer trips to vaccine clinics for $5 return for everyone. The trip is FREE for seniors and low-income individuals unable to cover the fare. Our goal is to help get as many people as possible to vaccine clinics. If a person needs an attendant with them the attendant rides for free. To take advantage of this program, people first book their vaccination appointment then call BayRides dispatch at 902-820-6600 to book their ride (48 hours advance booking required).

Parish Book Room We have a wonderful stock of used books of all sorts, arranged by subject and author filling two rooms of our comfortable basement. Whenever the church is open, St. Peter's Book Room is available for parishioners.
