The Task of Making Peace: transforming the world from within.Saturday, 9 am–3 pm, March 28th. Cathedral Church of All Saints, 1340 Cathedral Lane (one-way street), Halifax.  A Quiet Day is a “time out”, away from the usual demands of daily life, to stop, reflect, and be refreshed – some time and space to explore your spiritual life and deepen your relationship with God through silence, reflection and prayer.
There will be 3 brief presentations throughout the day on a form of prayer known as Christian Meditation, and opportunities to practice. These, along with resources such as an indoor labyrinth for walking meditation, and some hands-on prayerful art activities will provide guidance and structure to our time.
Cost: There is no cost for either the day’s activities or the meal, however, a free-will offering will be gratefully received.  To Register: send an email to [email protected] Put “RSVP - Quiet Day” in subject line and include any dietary needs.

we welcome you to be part of our family, growing together in the love of God
